but then you have to pick a head that will work for all the different cams. What a nightmare that would be. I have seen alot of heads that won't flow enough to use some of these new cams to their potential.

I guess it would be more like a cam and head shoot out.  Try every combo we can think of. 

I think it is good to weed out weak products and move forward. There is way too much opinion out there and not much fact about what works best for a given combo. Nobody seems to have information on how one head compares directly to the rest.
