Post by: MORAPTOR700 on November 29, 2009, 01:28:36 PM
I have a CP 11:5.1 piston and about ready to install and does it matter what direction the piston goes. (front to back) It doesn't look to matter but just want to be sure. Directions don't say and it has no arrow for direction. Thanks Tony Please Hurry

Thanks Kenny I was about to call you but I didn't want to bother you on a Sunday. I looked at the valve relief earlier and they looked to be the same but after you said that I went and looked again and sure as shit they are different. Thanks again Tony

Made good progress today on the build. Got it tore down and got the new piston in. Tomorrow will send out my head to get ported. Should get a BIG package this week along with a new TB. When the head gets back the build will continue. Hopefully around the New Year will fire it up.

Kenny as bad as I don't want to I going to use the +3 for now, I've spent enough money for now, but I will keep the +4 in mind. Do you think one of those velocity stack or whatever you put in it will fit in a +3? I'll probably be calling you about one of those evac. valve's this week. Thanks Tony

The +3 will serve you well. I don't necessarily recommend that you change to the Velocity PRO version since you already have the +3...... There are other places to put your money that will see more power gain. We are building the velocity stack to fit all stock body TB's for use as an adapter to the big White Knuckle tube or my new thermoplastic piece. Again, there is plenty to do until then

TRF is doing the port work. They are doing the mild port job. Stock valves. He thought 4-5 HP gain in HP and would substain the HP longer. They next stage port job they call the extreme and it was more money than I wanted spend at this time and I don't know if it would have benefited me any more for what I'm doing. Momma has said that I have spent enough for this go around.

Yep!!! I can only imagine what I'd be buying if i'd went twice. If I go to St. Anthony's in May and all those turbo quad being there, hell next year I buy a hairdryer to put on. Shiney and going fast is a good thing.

You won't have a problem with that on my TBs..... I am getting more and more reports on my competitors TBs having some issues. I already have 2 of them on the way to correct.

You are gonna love the new-found power!

Kenny was not insenuating (sp) anything its just something I heard or read so I was just checking it. The KDS TB was not mentioned either so I have no idea who's TB it was or anything. It looks like a really nice piece just can't wait to try the whole combination out.
