quick q to anyone who can answer it.
popping at 1/4 throttle and engine dieing if you stab throttle from no-GO means what?
My current setup:
Dyno Jet kit Motoworks Slip-on Exhaust
K&N High-flow lid
146 M
48 P
5th Clip Position
2 turns out on A/F
If you are popping on decel, air fuel screw too far out-too rich...maybe? Yfz may be a bit different. Are they Mikuni carbs?
Have you had it apart recently? Or: Is this problem out of the blue? If you havent had it apart recently, and it has been running fine, take apart and clean it. If you atre just now jetting for mods, I am not sure I can help much. Good luck.

yea i have pop on decel, and no its not recent. been that way ever since i put the pipe on, i put the recommended settings from the MFG and it ran crappy. i backed out my A/F .5 turns and it ran a little better, and i believe thats where i am at right now.. ???
did you back it out .5 turn from the stock setting to did you screw it in first then back it out..
it is currently 2 turns out from lightly seated. i tried 1.5 last night didnt do jack. a buddy of mine recommended a few settings to try and if those dont work im going to take my dynojets and throw them in the fucking trash can.
Is the 48 pilot the factory setting?

no factory is 42. i got it running good now though. i put the 134M in, put needle on position 4, and put the A/F at 1 turn and it runs really good, no popping. it will still die if you go from idle-full throttle but that isnt really a big deal to me.
1 turn out?
Go two turns out and I bet it won't die.
Check your plug too!
~Brian
i dont remember where to look at on the plug.
could you load this picture into paint and draw an arrow to where your supposed to look. i know they say the "porcelain" but im just real damn confused about it.

Is that a new plug you installed after the rejet?
~Brian

The new plug will give you an accurate read after the first couple of minutes.
Go through the gears, up to speed, and kill it.
Pull plug to read.

For the issue about dieing from 0 to full, there is this thing called the hotshot that supposedly is made to fix this problem. Apparently all YFZ's have this problem... ???
I dont see how putting a differant CDI in would help though. ???

CDI? nobody mentioned that did they?
its called the boyesen quickshot. all YFZs have that problem because of the flat slide carb but mine was was than normal so thats why i posted it up. ive heard some mixed reviews on that part but i was planning on buying one whenever i had an extra $90.
 i was pretty much just ranting and typing at the same time about the cdi thing...
but yea, the quickshot is what i was trying to get at
