Alrighty folks... We want to get somethin else going. Throw out your ideas.. Here's what I have:
(somethin on the cheaper side)
I was thinkin maybe a headlight upgrade? Like seeing if one of our sponsors sells upgraded brighter bulbs?
Maybe a grips group buy?
Get interest in a Bar GB? Or the anti-vibe bar risers?
Maybe a neoprene shock cover gb? It'd be ssweet if we could get custom ones that said raptorsource.com
Maybe we can talk to BMust and see if he'd be interested in doing a GB on radiator/grill guards?
i like the brighter bulbs idea
I like the bars idea
+1 to the Headlight upgrade!!
Others I would be interested:
A-Arm Skid plates
ATV Cover??
Grips (wouldn't hurt to have a spare set around)
Handlebars
Seat Cover
ASV Levers? ( I know TQS still has a killer deal right now too)
Tires? Razr 2 for the fronts and Razr 1 for the rears, stock size? (seems to be the most popular set up)
HID headlights (not that cheap though)
Steel Braided Brake lines
Riding Gear?
Or just casual gear? Hoodies, Shirts, hats...(pretty cheap)
Barkers
Anti-vibe risers has my vote.
Personalized stuff with RS logo. Atv cover is good idea , ZX.
R.S. Shock covers.
Grab Bars?
Wheel Spacers.
I would be in on some of these upgrades. grab bar is a good idea, bumper, shock covers would also be good, lightweight sand tires, graphics kits, seat covers, i like the idea of getting some rs logo'd stuff.
def interested in the antivibe risers...

Don't these require a magnet/transmitter attached to wheel spokes to calculate speed? We don't have wheel spokes and our tires are a much smaller diameter than bicycle tires, which could throw the calculation off.
put on brake rotor hub or sprocket hub. ;)
Chain and sprocket sets would be cool if nobody has mentioned it yet.

I emailed Cigma with a link to this thread...
Cigma computers have been sucessfully mounted on motorcycles with a very high degree of accuracy, at least thats what I read on a motorcycle forum. Those guys were very happy with the results.
I still vote risers.

I have not seen the new Pro Taper gribs yet and the website is not working right from the work PC.
But I was thinking about the ODI lock on grips. Or maybe the Fasst Co. antivib inserts.

Hi everyone, I was thinking suspension A Arm, axle (G-Force)
Rox Anti Vibe Risers or any riser, Longer Brake and clutch cables, Jet Trim Seat Covers and Hookers
Holy Cow!!! Jet Trim Seat Covers!!! I vote for them. I have been talking with them and they seem like great people to work with. They sent me two bunches of material samples to get an idea of what they have in the colors we are interested in. I would be in for two covers if we can get them in on a GB. Should I check into it and see if they would be interested?
If you want to that'd be great. if you have their contact info I can contact them as well..
-Randy
Hell yeah :grin_nod:
Dr.D reverse levers and Pro Armor Kill switches ???
Any News?
I am going to give Kelly @ Jet Trim a call this week and see what they could do, if they want to. I'll post what I find out. Keep fingers crossed.
Talked to Kelly today. She will talk to her boss and see what they would be willing to do. She said she will get back to me as soon as she hears something. Their normal cost is $119 + shipping for a 4-color seat. They will install the cover for $10 if we send them the pan and foam. If we get something going, she said each person could pick their own colors. Pretty cool if we can swing it. Custom seat at a discount. I like the Quad Tech hump seat but they don't have many color and vinyl options. Hope to hear something soon.
Sweet I was just thinking about ordering one anyway.. Hope we here something soon..
Diapers
I changed my gearing to a 15/36 and noticed my rear sprocket hub has play in it. Guessing its the splines on the sprocket hub. Anyone else notice a worn sprocket hub?
GB idea....RPM Axle makes a nice Billet sprocket hub....
Scotts SS oil filter http://www.scottsperformance.com/products.php?PartType=3&Bike=Yamaha
I don't know much about oil filters. But... SS... the perk is.. you can re use them.. do they work as good as a paper style OEM?
Rox anti vibe risers.
If you don't run a riser or extended stem, and are near 6' tall, you don't know what you're missing
I want
Maybe we could get Steve @ TQS to hook us up on his Fasst Flexx bar, Rox Anti-Vibe riser and accessories package deal that he did a while ago. I've been checking out the Flexx bars for a while. Nothing but good words about them and adding them with the Anti-vibe risers, its gotta be plush!
CCP Stabilizer or Flexx Bars sounds great :grin_nod:
flexx bars went up in price again, if you could lock in a good gb on them ur well off. MSRP in canada is 470$ :( how the heck am i gonna sell a 500$ bar :help:
Just got the CCP at a fairly good price....+2 stems might be a good idea? For me anyway because I don't want risers :grin_nod:
Some HID...!
Another CCP but would be great.
swing arms
Flexx Bars, ASV's, steering stems....
I have a friend who builds air craft parts and ornamental type iron work. I am going to see how long it will take him to extend the stock swingarm, and also if he would be willing to do more for the rest of you guys. I should have a price and all soon.
+5 stroker cranks.
RJ cams

Damn somebody get hit by the power bug ???
I can do a sale on RJ cams, beehive springs, and CNC heads. If anyone wants a complete package, I will do the following package deal;
CNC head (380+ CFM@28" monster)
BB contour CNC valve job
+2 valves
RJ cam
Beehive springs
Clearanced rockers
Machine head for cam clearance
New valve seals
Chamfered bolt holes (cleaned with bottoming tap)
Assembled and ready to bolt on for $1,000.00 shipped ($200 discount)
I can upgrade to the RJ N2o (nitrous) cam for $30 more
I have started to move exclusively to +2 valve heads and have some unique ways to make them work very well on stock bore engines. That way you never have to worry about paying for porting twice as your needs grow!
I will be running a special on big bore kits that can be combined with a stroker crank in a few weeks, when the +5 Hotrods crank is no longer on backorder. They will also be available with Barker cranks as an upgrade.
As far as I know, I am the only guy that uses torque plates on top and bottom during the boring and honing process to simulate the load of an assembled engine. This is really important for keeping the cylinders round when the engine is assembled. It makes a substantial difference in ring seal and engine life. This will be available with you choice of Racers Edge AZ, Barker, or KDS pistons... Prices will be set when the time comes
Feel free to call for details if interested

should have an update on this by monday. I am taking my bike out to him today so he can look at it and see what it will take to do it. He was hesitant about doing a bunch of them but it might be a deal where we kind of do a "group buy" and then he probably won't do anymore depending on how busy he is.

i've been talking to Jake and Kenny too damn much.
Update on the swingarms is as follows. He is busy right now but when he slows down he will get back with me and will do 10 to 15 only and he will want to do them all at the same time so its probably worth trying to go another route, but if things change we will see.
How about a group buy on some Carbon fiber warning covers or solid color warning covers? I would be in on that i am sick of the white and orange covers.
Power Commander PC5 with Auto Tune Bundle group buy. Everybody wants one!!!
hid billet headlights!
you know i could really go for a good set of shocks, something better than the yfz shocks but not over the top like Elkas. something in that 700$ range. if you could make this happen i would break my rules and order a set.

Looking for Valve tappet adjusters that will fit inside the head valve caps. I'm sick of the guess work with the feeler guages.
I was looking at these. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&navTitle=Tools/Shop&webCatId=22&webTypeId=140&prodFamilyId=17138&stockId=142925
Anyone have these, or another set that works for them.
I think a valve adjustment tool would be good for everyone.
