Don't these require a magnet/transmitter attached to wheel spokes to calculate speed? We don't have wheel spokes and our tires are a much smaller diameter than bicycle tires, which could throw the calculation off.

I emailed Cigma with a link to this thread...
Cigma computers have been sucessfully mounted on motorcycles with a very high degree of accuracy, at least thats what I read on a motorcycle forum. Those guys were very happy with the results.
