I am starting to organize a Utah Raptor Rally for the 2009 spring season.
I will pull together the other shops so we can have a bit of a demo situation with some bikes , tires, and maybe even some other parts. I will also have my dyno there and we will do something with it, either tune ups, dyno shootout or something.
I'd also like to organize some rides and some informal racing, I might even set up a back side race track with timing and see who can dune the fastest! We have done this before, its a lot of work but a blast!
I will host a BBQ dinner one night (burgers and dogs with chips and soft drinks) for all those attneding. I plan on getting another shop in on it and will try to get them to do a lunch or dinner another night. We will also have good ol fashioned bonfire party everynight, and if you have ever been to a KBR Bonfire Party, you know why we miss the early morning rides !
I am thinking of doing this one of the following weekends:
April 3-5
May 1-3
May 29-31
Please post on here with your level of interest and desired date, I will be posting this thread on other forums as well and by the end of next week , Ill come up with a date.

hmm, was trying to got to ID for memorial day, then swinging through Utah for a day or so on the way back to CO.

Safe to assume this will be a Little Sahara? 5 hour drive for me. :P I'm down for any weekend as long as I have plenty of notice. Should hopefully have the Z470 done by then as well.

Colorado, Des Moines is another 2.5 from me. Meet us in Omaha Krandall. This is a giant long shot, but fun idea to think about. What about the Wyoming dunes. Kilpecker"? Closer, not sure?

Talked to Kam today It looks like it will be May 1-3.
Get some vacation time put in.

Shcedule will follow, but tentatively:
Friday evening, meet and greet bonfire party at the KBR Kamp, set up races and rides.
Saturday:
Morning Ride to the back side led by Air (Rusty)
Lunch
Afternoon Ride to somewhere far and fast (advanced duner session, not that Rusty can't lead as advanced ride, but he is more likely to look over his shoulder and wait for my wife than I am) led by me!
Dinner provided by KBR at the KBR Kamp, and more bonfire action Sat night.
Sunday: Morning Backside timed dune track race.
We will make this a yearly occurance for sure.

You just need to get a group together and split gas and driving duties. Get Seven, Krandall, SoCal, and whoever else together for a road trip.

I am going out earlier. I will be there Wednesday night, If anyone else is planning on going out earlier lets meet up and ride on Thursday or Friday
So I guess I'm probably going to make it out on Friday night with a few of my buddy's depending on if one is moving or not. So question is who else is going? When? KBR, where will you be parked and what should we be looking for? We went out this last weekend and the weather was perfect on Sunday, now I'm totally stoked to get out there again. Well be there on Friday day sometime. We will have a black truck (F250) with a big black enclosed trailer and a maroon truck (F350) with a older weekend warrior pull behind.

Well, my plan right now is to head out after work on Thursday, probably roll in around 10:00pm or so. Probably be roughing it, sleeping in the truck, just me and the bike.
I'll be out there around 25 may, we're gonna swing through Utah on the way back from St. Anthony's (21-24 may)
Thats Memorial Weekend, we usually stick around till Monday afternoon, hopefully we wil run into you.
