You mean .17cal? 17mm would be a massive round.
If so, how do you like it? I thought about getting one, but heard the wind has harsh effects on shots over 70 yards. ???
no wind problems, i cant say i am that gun savy, but i have no problems hitting a gopher at 70 yards

most will tell you that 99% of the time they have the most boring job in the military. But I bet that last 1% is a nice rush :grin_nod:
They could only tell me the 99% :(
I miss doing it, I keep telling my dad we need to get back into it. He was a pistol guy but I went rifle. He will still get out his "braggin" target. He fooled even the judges at first by putting all 6 through the same hole. Had to have it examined to see the 6 individual rings.

I use my 30-06 works fine. Your 7mm mag be fine too, If you can find them, over under scope mounts work good. You'd be suprised at how many open site shots you could get in the thick stuff.
I'd run a heavy round for them in your mag and site for 300.
