I run Hole shot GNCCs 22x7x10 and 20x10x9 for racing
Maxxis RAZR 21x7x10 and 20x11x9 for the trails
Aaron
I currently have the IRazrs and love them for all sorts of riding
I've got RAZR2's and they really kick ass, a little heavy with the Hipers but the 'ol rap can handle it :grin_nod:

razr2s rear and stock fronts.
22" Razr 2's
Holeshot HD's 22x7x10 fronts and 20x11x9 rears
How do you like the HD's? I heard they're heavy?
oh hell. i have never seen a sport tire that heavy. but with the 3mods they are no problem to get moving and the hook like crazy.
i Assume there very tough?
yes they are a very tough tire. i have ran them since november of last year and they are showing very little wear on them. and i ride some rough rocky trails and alot of blacktop riding to get there
So far my IRazr's have held up great and i do 80% road riding

I run Razr2's all the way around. I couldn't be more happy with them. I've put them through hell out in ocotillo wells and they held up great.

I'm buying a hot knife to groove my tires for more bite, that should only take forever to cut 4 tires  I should get started on it though
I have 22" razr2's on front and
21X12X9 GBC Mudsharks on the rear. Ive had the mudsharks on my 660 and now my 700. I won't buy another tire for the rear except these. They hook up in just about everything, Mud,Snow,Rocks,Sand,Dirt and even pavement.

cool, you'll have to post pics of the tires that you groove. Are the lugs on those cheng shins' pretty durable?

If the studs are ripped out several times the knob may chunk or have a big hole where you'd like to put a stud. I didn't nut my studs last year so I will be pulling all of them out & adding longer ones & nutting. At that point the cutting will begin. I saw favorable results from others grooving @ the track so I'll try it. I don't forsee any durability issues with cheng shins knobs at this time. I think it'll be fine.
How do you plan on cutting them? they are already pretty small? or cutting as in removing lugs? ???
I plan on removing at least 88 knobs per rear tire as well as cutting each knob on either 2 or 4 sides exposing the stud. The studs will be patterned after a directional car tire tread & each stud "clocked" facing a set direction. Way to much effort for a set of tires
dang, I know it takes a lot of time to stud tires per conversations with Mad Dog. But dang dude you better get crackin. Ice season is just around the corner by the time you get those babies done!

Their insane and at around $65 a tire they are worth it. Last winter when i had them on my 660 they dug completely thru the snow into the grass and thru it in clumps across my yard. Im just glad i was renting the property.
lookin at some pirelli race rail xc, anyone know anything about these tires?

I only read an add about them in QUAD. And I can only guess that they are going to be top notch. Pirelli has been in the automotive racing scene for some years and they certainly know what they are doing! ;)
Stock Fronts
22" Mudlites rear
Mudlites suck, good for the first week...now I cant even do a wheelie on pavement :'( I can dirt track on a dry paved road
well at 60$ a tire i think im gonna try some pirelli's ???

work discount
Holeshot HD's front and rear. Agree 100% with Brad. They freakin rock but they are a bit heavy in my opinion
Stock fronts, 20x10x9 holeshot sr's on the rear. Put them on late last year, and then basicly only rode dunes . But this winter and so far this spring they hook up way better than stock. They also still seem to ride as good as stock, are light and only 45$ apiece.
18/10/10 American Racers & Hoosiers on the rear.
18/6/10 American Racers & Hoosiers on the front.

+1. I bought a set of YFZ rears. If you're looking for a cheap upgrade. TOTALLY Worth it!!!! They rock the stock raptor tires

If you can borrow a tire groove/sipe tool you can get better traction with the stockers till they are really shot.

I like each one because they are a great improvement over STOCK raptor stuff.. If I had a choice now between the SE raptor shocks, I would take those, but for the price of YFZ ones to the SE ones at the time. YFZ was a better deal..
I got my YFZ tires brand new for $125 shipped to me on rims. :nana:
I use kenda Klaw mxc on the rear. Very cheap, but very durable.
holeshot hd's 20x11x10 on black baja's...stock up fron for now...
