Preddy, you cant get the OMF in the colors we need except for the beadlocks... Soooooooo I was thinking, see what Steve can get 2 sets for.... I might buy the ones we need and a second set for the other bike... Especially if he can get a hella good deal going.

I will let Steve know were looking for 2 sets and see if he can cut me a deal. Spending that much on rims he better! It will be worth it, you will have the coolest wheels known to the ATV world!
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

What size sprockets? 14/36 (2.57) or 15/38 (2.53)? I don't know why, but the bigger set seems like it would have less stress. However the smaller (14/36) has a slight more grunt and ground clearance. 14/36????

Gunny

whats are you running for tires? Size? You  ever ride dirt trails or strictly sand.  I've got less mods than you & pull 15/36 & its less shifting on the trails. Plenty of TQ to lug it down if needed.  The 36 aids on swinger clearance for sure

I've got one off triple buff bead to bead 8 paddle edges on 8x7 blue labels on sand. On dirt I run 22x9 GNCC's on stockers. I've played with gearing quite a bit and know that I would never ever run higher then a 15/38. I like torque and quick throttle response, high way gears are just that, highway gears. I'm an aggressive rider, sand, dirt, trails, or whatever and I need the grunt. Put me on the line next to a build exactly like mine except 14/36 on mine and 15/36 on the other, I'll win every time. I know this for a fact. One tooth could mean the difference of winning and losing. Example, Idaho Rally last year. Bikes Colorodo700 and mine. Thunder hill. I was running 14/36, pulled Aaron by over a bike and change. I wasted a sprocket and changed to a 15/38, I couldn't pull away from Aaron after that. That one iddy biddy change up cost me a bike length. I'll most likely go 14/36 and call it a day, less centrifugal force.

Thanks for the insight Gunny.  When I run 15/36 gears & 20" tires that would be the same as 14/36 & 22"s right? I may have to play with my gearing again.

Ooooo, tempted to go in on that and sweeten the deal asking Steve for a 3rd set.

Those will be some amazing wheels

Hell might as well see who else needs a set and lets get a group buy started on OMF wheels.... I haven't heard of that before.

I was going to ask to go in on this with you. But I can't be sure what color rings I want for the racer because I have no frame to match it to.   :(

anyone know where to get a colored bolt kit? I see plenty for sport bikes, but I dont think that will work well for the raptor.

Bert, you're rocking a 700 right? Go 22's next time around. Raptors are the biggest baddest duner out there and are made to push 22's. If Yamaha sold a "Dune Edition" 700r, you can't bet your dollar they would put 22's on it.

I'm trying to find a whole kit. Those you'll have to order what you need (which will be a PITA) and cost alot more vs buying a kit.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

Got in the swinger today. Looks AMAZING! +2 stocker from Outback Welding.

Glad you like it!

It's an honor to be a part of this build. I can't wait to see this project complete! Going to be an epic quad gunny.

Thx again, Darryll @ Out Back Welding

Preddy, I shipped the swinger bolts with the subframe and a couple of the nerfbar net holders.
