Okay. So. I think I'm gonna try out the ice racing biz this winter, and I believe I'll have my bro convinced as well.  :grin_nod:

Questions. I know the benefit of having a swaybar on the quad. Obviously, keep the inside tire from lifting while drifting around a corner. Is there any difference in using a swaybar to using struts?

a sway bar helps distribute the pressure form the tire under load to the unloaded tire while still utilizing the suspension.  Struts are bad Juju IMHO, becuase they will not compress in the corner and will cause you to slide excessively.

I see it but dont.. Isn't a swaybar hooked to the bottom of the shock. so when one side a-arm goes up, the other is going to as well?

Daryl @ Rath Racing.com has a great swaybar.   If its not listed for the 700R no worries, Daryl said he can set you up with the correct sway bar links/mounts

Randy, back to your struts.  Think about Iceskating fast around a corner with your legs ridged straight and only turning your feet.  How well does that turn out?

 :lol:  You'd think the ice would be smooth but struts will beat the hell out of you if your riding with motorcycles & they rut the course.  This weekend I'll see if I have any pics of the 450's, low, wide & very soft suspension settings

Not sure how to explain this... So..

the main bar on the sway bar by the guys # Plate. Does that pivot up and down  on the left and right sides to push one side up/down.

Or is there a gear kind of mechanism built inside that rod that twists the bar directly hooked to it on the sides?

Not sure if that makes sense.
