Card carrying Cherokees receive food, medical, and dental benefits here. They also pay half priced sales tax on autos and reduced amounts on car tags. I paid $1500 to tag the Corvette, and if I tagged it through the Cherokee Nation, it would have cost me $750.

I did that the first time I went. I shit my pants ::)
Even did it last sept. There was a guy on a banshee jumping a hill and he left, my bud josh and I decided we should just hit it the banshee guy was doing it slow so I figured. eff this.. 3rd nearly pinned. sailed about 15 feet in the air and just sailed. :boat:
what was funny as hell with Alex's jump is that he fell forward, his face was in the grill and he was heading nose down. Who knows how he landed ok. I'm still getting over a mind block of jumping from my crash last year.

Erich, if you come out to Iowa to ride this fall you better bring a spair set of balls. Casue your going to need it.
The jumps at Bussey are pretty intimidating. I have been there twice (a year apart) and both times it took me half a day to muster up the courage to jump anything out there. Once you get it you can't stop.
I was out there about a month ago and the first 3-4 hours I refused to jump anything. Then I came out of a corner and said screw it!!!! Pinned it and held on. After that I was jumping ever jump doing 3-4 laps at a time. I had to stop becasue I was so tired! When heading up a face of a jump my legs would barely lift off my ass off the seat they were so tired!

Those wrecks can really shake ya up. My buddy that lives in Des Moines broke his back 4 years ago jumping, and this spring my other buddy dislocated and fractured his sholder. When I was 15 I broke my collar bone on a dirtbike. Two years ago, my predator buddy and I were blasting around the local trail (5 gear) He took a corner and right around it was a down tree thats about 30" around. He ended up with 4 broken ribs.
That shit shakes your confidence, but that is what I love about this sport. Facing your fears.
