Erich, if you come out to Iowa to ride this fall you better bring a spair set of balls. Casue your going to need it.

The jumps at Bussey are pretty intimidating. I have been there twice (a year apart) and both times it took me half a day to muster up the courage to jump anything out there. Once you get it you can't stop.

I was out there about a month ago and the first 3-4 hours I refused to jump anything. Then I came out of a corner and said screw it!!!! Pinned it and held on. After that I was jumping ever jump doing 3-4 laps at a time. I had to stop becasue I was so tired! When heading up a face of a jump my legs would barely lift off my ass off the seat they were so tired!
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

I'll get there, if you saw my wreck last year you would have the mind block too.  I'm almost back to normal.

Those wrecks can really shake ya up. My buddy that lives in Des Moines broke his back 4 years ago jumping, and this spring my other buddy dislocated and fractured his sholder. When I was 15 I broke my collar bone on a dirtbike. Two years ago, my predator buddy  and I were blasting around the local trail (5 gear) He took a corner and right around it was a down tree thats about 30" around. He ended up with 4 broken ribs.

That shit shakes your confidence, but that is what I love about this sport. Facing your fears.

Peelz

preddy, let me know when/if you go, little under 1.5 hrs for me to get there. Hey I can bring the "refreshments"  Always lookin for riders who like to go fast. Curious to know how wet that place is right now, though. Probably getting better.
Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"
