Always wanted barkers duals  but since im a broke beaner......I went the jewest route!
My first impression when I saw them done was  looks cool but nothing special........
now after riding all day on them WOW :woot:

love the sound, I haven't heard many quads with custom exhaust bud DAMM! this bitch sounds sexy........
with the hmf single it sounded nice but kind of high pitched at higher revs...........
now with the duals it sound deep.......and strong..........like peels likes his men  :nana:

I also noticed it picked up some power on the butt dyno but I wont know that for sure till I take it in to tune.

well with out any further interuptions here are the pics.......

good, bad, tell me what you think.  let me know if you want more pics.

Yea, it looks pretty big. Not sure I like how the headers are run so high up. Would have liked to have seen it more similar to how barkers/dmc's are run http://bob2bob.com/images/river/DSC02872.JPG

not quite so high up..

on the left side when sitting on it. how far does the pipe stick out? burn your leg?

But.. all and all.. HMF should have done this.. seriously. love the cans. they look freakin sexy. you should send the pics to HMF tell em lookat this biznatches!!!!

I agree told my buddy to copy the barker routing wich is similar to that pic you posted but
1. pipe is too think to make that turn corectly and
2.pipe was too big to tuck in close to the engine and fit over the starter like barkers do.

Rode all day yesterday and no issues, keeps leg warm but not too bad and I was wearing jeans.........some riding pants would probably be better.......

VERY cool.

Way to be a mexi-CAN magz!!!

I've wanted to make a set of these for a long time but...I am an Ameri-CAN'T
Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"

Krandall

I think jeans would be better than riding pants, jeans are cotton where as riding pants are nylon/polyester which would melt to the pipe.

ahhhh I'll stick to jeans then.......I've never owned a pair of riding pants......

Thats why I took the quad riding yesterday, to evaluate if the pipes by your legs need a guard.........saw some nice universal carbon fiber ones online.....

I dont feel the need for them.........it's staying  as it is.

Peelz

weld on a couple nuts and make a heat shield. you're totally gonna burn yourself on those.

keep the kids away from it
