Ok, my wife nought me heated grips for CHristmas.  How the he'll do I wire them.  I am good with a slaughtering iron but I am a little nervous about what wires I might tap into.  Any advice?

Peelz

Straight to battery, with a fuse. And a switch

+1.. I'd just wire in a switch that goes to your battery. That way you can turn them off/on.

Wow does the iPad change what I want to say!  I just read my post and laughed out loud.  Why not go straight to the battery though, good thinking.  The grips came with digital controls.  Can't wait to try them.

You can go straight to the battery if they already have an on/off control (there are several sets that do not) but if you want to be sure not to leave them on you could always use a relay off of say a headlight so it would have to be running with the lights on to have the hand warmers work.

Just a thought.
