I always like to do the campaign first ... I tend to get bored with the multiplayer mode pretty fast
then I just stop playing it altogether .. this way I feel like I got my 60 bucks worth

I enjoy MP.

Last year with Black ops, it was awesome I played MP all day and I didn't join a server where anyone was ranked higher than me.
