New explorers are a sack of butt holes...  Ford ruined that one.   And my wife needs awd or 4x4, snow and ice and she cant leave the curbs alone.  My son was the first to tell me that in the snow mom didnt hit any curbs and he was 5 then.  LOL   Even he knows only so much a car can take, and pinball with curbs is not on the list.

You definitely have not gotten into the 2011-12 model, much roomier and it is b-e-a-utiful!!!

I have owned 7 explorers, only time I was left walking was a fuel pump went out.   Had V-6's with over 200k and a v-8 with 190k...  The v8 was awesome only reason it left was it got ran into.   The new one is a car, lot like the mazda cv-7 or 9 or wtf ever it is...
Gonna be stupid you better be tuff.
