still trying to rack up the money. if you alter the cam timing (retard exhaust cam 1 tooth) its suppose to make it a dream to kick over if you put it on the compression stroke first. ill be doing both at the same time and ill make a detailed write-up pics included. all i need is $ now...

my dad wont let me do the cam mod for some reason. dad its free horsepower. its technically not a mod since it is a factory yamaha thing, just for a different motor

tell him to slob a knob. youre just making it YZ450F timing. all you do is switch a few letters around and they are the same damn thing.

but you can rotate the crank via socket before starting the engine up to make sure it doesnt hit anything. that should convince him. oh and you have to rejet for it too.

i really think i should do it while hes not home one time. he wont now the difference, if it does need rejetting ill just say its the weather since its getting warmer. if we do eventually do it after i do it ill say damn its already been done since i bought it used.

lol. it will take you a while, you need a service manual, assembly lube, torque wrench, good 6-point sockets, etc...
