Krandall yes there is depending on the error code.

I am looking for a 3 red light 360 or a cheap one because I have the itch to mod it and paint it and everything but I am not aloud to do it to my new falcon 360. ( Newest version with hdmi and updated cooling)

Correct. Most people who have experienced the red lights might already be out of warranty so its worth a shot right?

Theres one way that doesn't void the warranty but its only a temp. fix. You wrap the xbox 360 in towels and let it over heat. The heats up the solder joints of the gpu and supposedly makes the rings go out for a day or two.

The two that work the most are Reflowing/Heat Gunning and X-clamp Replacement. Heat gunning or reflowing means your a melting the solder of the gpu and everything so your not getting a faulty connection which causes some red rings. The x-clamps used by microsoft are faulty. When the xbox 360 heats up over and over it causes the board to "bend/warp" causing some red rings.

i also heard if you have it plugged into a powerstrip to plug it into a regular wall outlet. and to take the power supply and suspend it so theres air all around it. like set it diagonal on top of a shoe box, it takes alot longer to overheat
