Throttle Housing and Lever

Stupid question but im not sure. Will a throttle lever and housing for a 660 work for the 700? We are concerned about it effectivng the power, torque or whatever. If you know anything please help! Thanks!

probably? they are USUALLY quite interchangeable. Length would be the big question. That is what would affect the power. too short, throttle gets pulled...Ive been there. not cool.

my old 660 cable got in a bind when I turned it full left.

I don't see why it wouldn't either.. I know one of the big things people do is replace yamaha throttle housings w/ ones from hondas because they are a bit easier on the hands.
