PROUD DAY AS A DAD!!!!!!!

Today my son hit his first out of the park homerun!!!  I got the ball and I am going to put it in a case to keep it safe. I know it may sound like it's not big of a deal. But as a DAD I was so happy for him. He asked me why I wanted the ball so bad I told him  "Because that is the first homerun ball you ever hit over the fence and I want the ball to always remember it!" And I think my wife about cried she was so happy. One of the best days I have had in awhile.

Congrats, I only ever hit one in my "career" in little league so I'm sure my old man would have liked to keep the ball like you've got. Always happy for a proud father.

Well he ended up hitting 5 homers for the weekend!!!!! And they took second in the tournament. And yes I got all five balls. I know the others are not as important as the first, but to hit 5 in a weekend is something special to me and my boy.

He is 6. Turns 7 in june.
