i read those books when i was in 8th grade....like 10yrs before the movies came out.....thought they were great and the movies did em no justice....

I tried watching the Lord of the Rings a few years ago. I was bored out of my mind the first 15 mintues in and I changed the channel. I've not seen any of them.

Me neither. All it took for me was seeing the type of dorks that walked into the theatre dressed up as characters from the movies.

Should have known better when I went to see the second Matrix movie. Same thing there. Morons dressed up as Neo and the other dude.  Biggest film letdown I can remember.
