For the video card I just picked this up last month for under 200. THIS CARD ROCKS!!! It will play any game out now and then some on VERY HIGH. Cheap and fast

Also if you plan on running vista any time soon just get 4GB of memory.

This card will do about anything but cook you up some meth :rofl:

I REALLY like rosewill power supplys. Most have a hi and low for fan controll when under heavy use just crank up the fan.

Cases are mostly user preference, but this is the one that I have and its cheap and looks really nice. big quite fan to boot. Its kinda nice having a toolless case.

I don't have time to reply to everything you're looking at. But I would suggest checking out: www.TigerDirect.com and looking at some of their barebone systems to build off of.. New egg is great as well, but I've found Tiger has way better deals for package/barebone systems. :thumbs:

Some others might have a little bit better prices, but the customer service of newegg is second to none. I have'nt delt with tiger, so I can't really say.

I agree, NewEgg's RMA i amazing. they are quick and friendly. I would put Tiger at a close 2nd. :)
