i have somewhat of a newb question here.  i want to start doing some jumps, maybe start at 4-5 feet at first.  i was just wondering on if nerf bars are highly recommended, or if they are mostly ornamental, i know that when i hit a jump now, i tuck my legs in and brace for impact, and i kinda dont see nerf bars really helpin that, im scared my foot will slip through the net.  advice please

You don't stand on the nets.  The nets are for safety and your foot will not go through them, unless you have feet like a 9 year old girl.  The nets are just there so that when your feet slip off the pegs they don't go down to the ground.  When your feet go to the ground they stop moving, the quad keeps moving and runs you over.  I have seen that cause scrapped legs to torn liniments and broken legs.  They are good to have if you will be jumping much, because eventually you will miss the pegs when you land.

I HIGHLY suggest nerfs...  The holes in the netting arent big enough for your feet to slip through.

I got Pro armor nerfs with heel guards and fat pegs and love em. I dont really see a reason to get heel guards since the stock ones are fine except for the bling factor.

I like the ProArmor nerfs with the built in heel guard. They have saved my ass a couple of times!

its all about price vs. performance for me, i dont care too much for looks.  i didnt feel i needed the heel guards so i bought the minimum, and 150$ is my price through work
