Can you use yfz450r a-arms on a 700?

Unknown. I would really just get a set of aftermarket arms meant for a 700 unless you found a really great deal on the YFZ-R arms. There is no real great advantage to using the YFZ-R arms other than the long travel but you can get a set of long travel a-arms for 300-400 bucks easily.

Would be good to know as I have seen complete a-arms and shocks off a 450r for about $550, that is a steal!

Well i am looking for a front end on the raptor, i cant afford new shock, that will come later on down the road. so i guess i need something that can use the stock shocks, and tie rods. Or comes with new tie rods and a-arms for about 3-$400

The YFZ450R front ends are long travel and require a 18.5" shock (17.5 works as well)

You CAN use the Pre-09 YFZ (carbed) a-arms, they are the same as a 700's.

i know, i was looking for something that would be a bit of an upgrade over stock. If i am going to replace something, i'd like to do it better.

Aftermarket is better...There are some Houser +2s around for around 325 or so that I've seen on a YFZ450 forum, uses stock length shocks. But I would save up and buy some quality ones like JD or ARS, Houser, Lonestar etc...I like my ARS arms a lot.

I'm 99% sure they won't mount up to a Raptor or 04 - 08 YFZ. That's the main reason the arms and shocks aren't worth anything to anybody.

The shocks should work with any long travel a-arm that can use a 18.5" LT shock, it's just the geometry of the YFZ-R arms that makes fitment on another quad questionable.

Eye to Eye is over rated you need to know the shaft travel the LT A-Arms require. You can have several different shaft travels with 18.5 inch shocks it just depends on the a-arms.

I'll agree with that, it is an "optimal" setup to have the shocks and a-arms compliment each other...I am running Axis shocks on ARS a-arms and neither were set up for each other but it seems to work just fine.
