krandall, sorry i am late to the suggestions but aaron hit it on the head, mossturds suck ass. the 870 is by far and away the best gun ever made and most useful. if you want a nasty looking tactical shotgun get an 887. i have the 887 tactical and shooting 3" slugs or buckshot out of it feels like you shooting a .410 not a 12 gauge. badass gun but not nearly as tried and true as the venerable 870. i have 5 870s and two 887s. love them both but the 870s will be around long after the 887s wear out.

sorry, im pretty sure i havent ever seen an 870 tactical before.  it does look pretty tacti-cool, like i said previous, its not like i dont like the 870, i just dont like the tinniness of the pump action.  glad you are happy with it  8)

I need to get some more pics.. BUT...

Reason I opted for this one vs a straight up (cheaper) tactical gun was, this one has a choke in it already, and I can get another choke.. Plan will be dual purpose home defense (looking badass) as well as hoping to dink around at my parents w/ some clays. I'm very happy with the purchase. Taking it up north with me tomorrow and gonna break her in!!

the m1 garand is one of the best rifles ever made, very old and still used in match shooting. great rifle, only down side is the mag size

I didn't get to fire a Garand the other saturday, I hope to sometime before I buy one this fall

I picked my buddy up from the airport last week & surprised him with a trip to the range, he wanted to rent a "Dirty Harry" revolver & we ended up with a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan.  The 44 Magnum round is impressive when compared to 45ACP Lol  It was exilarating to shoot & feel the pressure wave in your chest  behind the firing line.  The downside is the cost of ammo & of course now i would like one very badly but that will have to go on the long list, the short list comes first.

Thinking about getting into reloading, specifically .45ACP for now & I know nothing about reloading.  In the future maybe 223 or 308 as well. Steer me into a direction & i'll start researching presses etc. Thanks
