you mean as a pistol? why is that legal and an ar15 isnt? you damn cannucks and your communist laws

Kamakazi

non-restricted means you can carry the gun to use for hunting/shooting, get pulled over by police or game wardens and not have to worry about anything.  Restricted means you have to get a permit to transport the gun from your house to the range, you cannot stop at the store for milk, or roll thru the drive thru for a burger or you will go to jail, you will not pass go and collect 200$.  so anything that is restricted ie. a handgun or ar-15 is basically a range queen.  non restricted can be carried anywhere basically without needing to phone in for a transport permit.

I asked my buddy if he had seen or tried CCI's Quiet-22™ .22 Long Rifle rounds & he hadn't but stumbled upon a solution that works for his squirrel problem in town.  http://gamowhisper.com/  His air rifle is 1250 fps vs CCI Quiet ammo @ 710 fps. He's very happy with his Whisper mostly becuase it doesn't spook the other squirrels after the 1st shot allowing him to take out a second & third target with stealth. I had to laugh when he was telling me this but after shooting it I was impressed. It has greater range than any 10 pump air rifle i remember shooting as a youngin.  I was told they have a 1500 fps model & a 2000 fps model is in the works.  Very effective for a city dweller over run with squirrels.

in tx you can carry a long rifle anywhere. and pistols you can have them in your ride as long as they are concealed. my friend carried an ar and ak in his truck all the time till he got pulled over and the cop freaked out lol. cop was ready to take him in till he called the station and told him there wasnt any law saying he couldnt carry them. blew his mind lol. he had the ar, ak, ar pistol and a 12guage along with his springfeild 1911's (he plays video games and though he could dual weild them lmao) and a 40 glock and tons of ammo. he is a cop now and carries all the time. i think that is a big reason he became a cop, and he really wants to shoot someone also but he uses his taser so much i dont think he will get to.

Phucker is a fan and I bought a .40 XDM on his recommendation.  I like it.  The grip kind of digs into your hand after firing a couple hundred rounds.  I ran just over 200 through it in one sitting and I had indentions in my hand afterwards.  That's an easy fix though if it really bothers you.  I'm going to live with it.  Hogue or somebody makes a slip on thing that slides over the grip.

I'm not sure how rugged the sights will be if you will be carrying it a lot, holstering it and beating on it in general.

i carry mine every day and i have at least 5k rounds through it without a single jam or misfire( had a few bad primers but not the guns fault, there were big dents from the striker) and yes the 40 shoots a large projectile at high velocity so it does have a kick, not much more than a 9mm so of course shooting several hundred rounds it might dig into your hand a bit lol. ive never had a problem with that on this gun but on my lcp yeah that hurts like a bitch after 3 clips. pistol of the year last year and probably again this year, nothing compares to it.

Got this via text from a friend.  This is a polymer lower.  I ASSUME it's the same stuff the XD and Glocks are made of but I honestly have no idea.  It's a complete lower for $100, that's pretty hard to beat.  Grab a complete upper from a gunshow or shop near you and it's good to go.  Just might have to try one out myself.

Wow, this REALLY looks like the range I go to.  Found this on another site.  I'm actually 100% positive this is where I go.  This would be the far left, the shortest range.

ANYway, a hot shell to the face would have to suck.
