For those with small kids that want to keep a handgun around the house:

They recommend loading one in a revolver, two in a semi auto.  One in the pipe, one in the mag so if somebody pulls the trigger or cycles the action and then pulls the trigger, it's still locking up.  Cool idea but don't forget to eject them before pulling the trigger.

If you "fire" it, it jams the action of the gun.  Revolver won't turn and the action of a semi gets locked up.  You have to use the supplied rod to reset it.

I just picked up a .22 Marlin Automatic Rifle over Christmas. It was my Grandpa's and he passed a few years back. His 3rd wife decided to pass it on to me.

I have wanted one of these pistols ever since they came out a while back...

It is a stainless Kimber Ultra Raptor...3" 1911, .45 cal, and one of the best looking pistols on the market right now IMO.
And one of the local gun shops finally got one in (they have been damn near impossible to find for the past 6+ months).  I would LOVE to run over there and snag it up, but I'm trying not to spend any money on anything I don't need right now...I want to get my quad finished up and pick up an enclosed trailer before April.  But I don't know if I can resist this thing...I have to run into the shop sometime this week to get some trijicon night sites put on my brothers pistol for his birthday, and I'm sure that thing will be sitting on the shelf smiling at me.
'07 powerwheels raptor...with a belt driven twin screw centrifugal turbocharger!  Wait for it, wait for it...!

A friend of mine bought one of those for his wife.

In case you wanted...you can get it with pink hand grip. :)

For a 1911?  If you are calling that pistol a girly gun...I don't even know what to say to that.

I took my ol' lady to the gun shop today (had to order some trijicon sights for my brothers pistol for his B-day), and we did a little "shopping" for her.  She took her CPL class last Saturday, so we did a little looking around for something that she would want to carry...

she liked the way the Kahr K9 felt the best, I liked it too...except for the price.  Didn't seem like a $900 9mm...

I'm waiting to see the new stainless Kimber solo carry 9mm come in, that may be a great setup for her.

A little better at a msrp of $700, lighter than that K9, smaller, and I'm quite fond of Kimbers.

Nice.  Yeah, 1911's are like Lego's...I'm sure you can find grips with a big wiener on them if that is your thing...
