But I don't think you can blame democrats either for what happened to detroit. How about placing the blame on some of americas most wealthy. They had power to change what was going to happen, but kept pumping out garbage..

it is more about a "theory" of government rather than a specific individual

one of my worst jobs ever was installing Satellite dishes down there
and that was 10+ years ago, it has gotten much worse.

but even then, my customers were very concerned for my safety
and often accompanied me to and from the truck, and stayed in plain sight at all times

I had one old black man tell me that I needed to stop, or I will be killed
and he feared for my safety. He pleaded for me to find another job.
I visited with him for quite a while, he was an awesome dude
told me how GREAT Detroit once was.
about all the famous people he met, he had pics on his walls of famous black people (with him)
some big names, like Bill Cosby, Aretha Franklin.. some others I can't remember.

I miss THAT part of the job
some of the nicest and most interesting people I ever met were on that job.
and most of them were south of 8 mile in Detroit.

Michigan is an awesome place to live, but it is horrid mis-management of government and companies that are ruining this place.

this problem was coming long before Obammy came to Washington. Used to work in car dealers. GM sux. And has for awhile. The cars rolling off the trucks were kaka from the get go. They had well over 100,000 people working in the detroit area alone. Now...not so many.mid 10k's I believe
