It is Anti-seize, the messy gray shit!  ;)
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

It is used as assembly lube. Stop at a good auto parts store and ask for some they should know what it is.

CCP stabilizer
Lonestar axle

Quadracers

Also apply this on both sides of the washers and nuts if you have ARP bolts. I have seen the aluminum on the head start to crack when torqed under load without useing assembly lube.

I was aware it wasn't a specific brand, and that several company produce it. What I was asking for was who sell/produce that type of grease..I've called several places and they all told me that molybdenum disulfide was an additive in some general purpose grease.. But I wasn't sure it was the thing we were talking about here. Anyway I've done some search on loctite website as I know they make several specialty lubricant/sealer/etc. and found that the moly-50 from loctite would be one of the grease to use. http://tds.loctite.com/tds5/docs/MOLY50-EN.PDF
