Will this price require a core? I assume not....  ???

There would be no core for a new billet throttle body.

Dang. Not sure how I missed that. Looks sweet!!!!

When do you expect to see some of these on the shelf?

so would this be a good mod if you have big 3, 11.5:1 and hotcam 3? or is money better spent else where?

Texas700

looks like a generic picture. surley those things come with the throttle shaft and plate.

I would look at a dynatek programmable ignition and some pretty serious head work before looking at a TB this big.  A +2 or +3 TB will feed your motor plenty well.

Texas700

what i meant was looks like everyone was using the picture to show the TB. Being generic i meant it was bare.

Picture might be the same but the offered TB is different. Kenny is saying 50mm, thats a 52. Does raise an eyebrow though.

I dropped Kenny a few messages about some work we are discussing. I havent got a response yet either.

Just got to be patient with Kenny

Here are pics of the pre production pieces.... There have been substantial changes from this phase, so it might as well be an artist's rendition.

No, they are building my new TB. I will highlight the differences in mine:

•   Cold idle circuit for easy starting
•   Velocity Pro Venturi  bore design
•   More torque and broader power curve than a big billet TB
•   No special adapters required for installation
•   Great throttle response
•   Basic plug and play install (mild boot trimming)
•   Ideal for dual purpose Drag/ Recreational riding
•   Optional screw on billet velocity stack adapter for BIG aftermarket intakes!

This thing is, like everything else, taking longer than all of us expected. We are hammering away at this and another dozen or so new projects......so hang with me guys. Hell I'm still waiting for the newly designed EVAC valves that were supposed to be in my hands 3 weeks ago!!

During the time I took off I got the race engine bug again, so we are working on some really sick stuff for race builds that nobody else has...... but again, my obsessiveness has put me behind

Kenny, still waiting to hear if/when these are available.
I'm still a little bit confused so bare with me.  As I understand it, Vent is manufacturing your TB and it will be a bored 50 mm with cold start features but they are also selling a 52 mm and it has the same features as most of the big billet ones?  Is this correct?  What about the intake options you had mentioned, any news or pics?

I've had to hide my credit card from myself so that I can wait to hear back on these 50 or 52mm units in the $300 range since I've almost been ready to throw down on the 54mm for $650.

Thanks
