We were at treverton,pa today riding and i bent a rim and rear axle :'( So im wondering what you guys recommend to buy. also width is not an issue at all for me. I mainly want the best bang for the buck. I dont want to spend $700 on a lonestar. all i have seen is the G-force and durablue. I know durablue is tough but not familiar with G-force. also if anyone has an aftermarket one they want to part with please PM me

i endedup going with the G-force adjustable. cause the cheapest dominator i found was over 300.00 and im a little pinched right now. the one i got was 180.00 with a warranty against bending or breaking

Understandable, I had one too for that same reason. But, RPM supports the Raptor guys real well since Ive seen him on the forums and not any other axle maker. This alone, with the fact they are awesome axles, he will have my business on the next axle purchase from me.

damn it. i wish i had the extra $$$ to purchase one, but i dont. do you have to press the carrier off the old axle? Im glad i had to tear it apart, cause when i did it was full off water and mud. So is there a way to prevent the mud from getting into the rearend or is this expected to happen?

Sounds like you need new carrier bearings and seals.

thats what i figured  I thought i might as well replace them while it was apart. how does the carrier come off the axle

There should be a rubber piece that goes between the pinch bolts on a stock swing arm. Bearings are sealed

if you ride in mud/water. there's honestly nothing you can do to keep the water out. It's going to get in there no matter what you do.

to get the carrier off.  it may take some beating. What I did was put a 2x6 on the floor. held onto the carrier and slammed the axle onto the board. took a few HARD hits, but finally broke loose.
