the suzuki 450 has efi. but thats an 08 and i dont have 8 grand to blow on a bike. im buying my bike used and im not looking for a 450

the kawi 250fs and yamahas are the handsdown best bikes out there. the kawi has a strong engine and is a sick bike. the yamaha is super reliable and is the originator of the 250fs. the ktms are decent bikes, fast as hell, but have alot of quirks. and no honda for me lol

What quirks are you talking about on a ktm...proof?   

Also you can get a suzuki 450 for much less then 8k, and you can go used for even less...they've had efi for a few years.

There's a kid that works in our service department that is 6'1'' and weighs about 120 lbs dripping wet. He bought a 450 and it kicks his ass. He can ride it, but he's much faster on a 250 because he scared to death of it.

Depends on the rider.  450s have lots of snot, but a good rider will learn it slowly, without goig wot all the time.  Just like anything else, the rider needs to respect the bike.  Although I might be biased, since I was riding a CR500 at 14.

If I were to ride a dirbike it would be a 250 modded to my specs. My buddy has a 450 honda dirtbike and its STUPID FAST!!!! Its just not useable.
