Trip went great. Nothing to out of the ordinary this time. We went to the Indian Ridge Trail system and rode 175 miles in 2 days.

I did every trail without any problems, had some pretty narly climbs too, but no match for the 700 ;)

Except for... The only "Extreme Difficulty" trail on the system. I was with my group of 4, and our neighbors making a group of 11 total. We all stopped at the bottom and looked at it for a while, I did it last time and climbed it without much of a problem... This time it was worse. One of the guys in my group was on a cr450f or whatever the honda race bike is, and he tried it, got part of the way up and stalled and rolled all the way back to us  :'( but since i did it last time i wanted to do it again, i was the only one on a fourwheeler to try it.

The Hill:
About 50 yards of about a 45 degree angle. Hard pack dirt with a thin layer of wet clay on top. Left rut about 3 feet deep, right rut about 1 1/2 feet deep. No room to go on the side of the ruts. Had rocks and ruts to bounce you around all the way up while trying to stay out of the ruts. A sign that says "for advanced riders only blah blah blah" "no vehicles under 200cc, no 2 wheeel drive atv's, no side by sides, and you must have a winch" but wheres the fun in that?

1st run:
1st gear, tires out of the ruts, hit a root and get thrown into the ruts. Get high centered. FAIL

2nd run:
1st gear, tires out of ruts, differant side, loose traction and slide into ruts, high centered. FAIL

3rd run:
1st gear, tires out or ruts, WOT, hit an elevated root/rock thiny, wheelie kicking only my back right tire into the deeper rut, flipping backwards i hop off and fall on my stomach, raptor is looking to the sky getting ready to fall on me so i get up and try to keep it on its wheels, threw it down onto its side and waited for some of my friends to stop watching and come help me take it back down to the bottom... FAIL

4th run:
Same shit as first two, FAIL

Went to bottom to talk to my group (i was upset because my boxers were only being held together by the elastic at this point :( ) told them im not trying it again.

5th run:
Went to the other end and rode down that bitch

My friends had some utilities with speedometers and at one point they were topped out running down some blue trails at 45 mph and they could not see me. I waited for them at the end of the trails for about 2 minutes, so im thinking i ran the trails at about 55 mph when i ran hard   8)
I'm going to start harescrambles in August
