Which head would you run?

Hey guys.
I need a little help on what head to run. I will have two different heads to choose from to run on my bike, both will be new. I'm pretty sure I'm sticking with Bo's head but I wanted to get some thoughts and opinions from you guys. Keep in mind, I ride mostly in the woods. Also, I may stroke it this winter but it will still be a pump gas build. Race gas is too much around here.

Head one is Bo's Trex port with +1 Ferrea intake valves, Kibblewhite Spring Kits, HDD 5050 cam.

Head two is the one I won on here last month. It is a KDS's CNC Port, +2 Ferrea intake and exhaust valves, Bee-Hive Springs, and an RJ Cam. If you have not got your VIP on here yet you need to NOW!

I'm thinking the KDS head is just too much for what I have done and what kind of riding I do. What would you do? ???

I would go with the kds build  I have a bo white head and i will be upgrading to kenny's head over the winter.Bo's head is awesome dont get me wrong, but kenny's head is top notch and will not restict anything you want to add in the future. plus you won it so its free which is even better. I trail ride mostly and wouldnt hesitate to get the kds package

That's a no Brainer IMHO.......go with the CNC head and take advantage of the superior technology. That head won't hold you back anywhere on your current  or a future pump gas stroker stroker build.

KDS was my original plan, till I won the Barker. Next time I buy a head it'll be KDS, nothing against Bo. CNC for the win.

Looks like you guys are big fans of the CNC port. I'm just not sold on the +2 valves yet. I don't see to many builders using them in there bikes. That's why I thinking I will keep Bo's head for my build.

I don't have the build you have and most likely never will. I could be wrong but I'm thinking the +2 valves will take away from the bottom end power on my small build?

I ran +2mm valves at all four corners on my 780 for over 3 years on two different combos. If you ever plan on going to a 105mm or larger bore they will really shine.

So you don't think it will rev slower or lose any on the bottom end with KDS's head on my stock bore/stroke 11.1 build? I don't see me getting to crazy with the mods after this build. Like I said, I may do a crank but then again I may not. I ride tight trails in WV and I don't need much more then 65-70hp if I even need that.

Tough decision hey MAN. Most guys in the know are saying to go with the CNC head and that would be my recommendation too.

Don't forget who asked and contacted you first here on RS about buying your BO head.

My vote would also be the KDS Head. the head design is what makes or breaks builds. Not that you NEEED the power. But. that's the first spot that you get restricted basically. Go big or go home right?

KDS all the way buddy.  Gives you more options for the future, and we all say "Well, I'm not gonna mod it THAT much" but multi thousands of $$$ later we're still searching for more HP.  The great thing about the Rappy IMO, is that even 70 HP is still "trailable" because of it's wider gearing.
