I run a no link rear shaw. It is a dragbike, but basically Shaw sets up the shock valving according to your weight ect... and then you use nitrogen pressure to fine tune the "stiffness or softness" of the shock. I rode the dragbike with the shaw and then my duner back to back on the same hill and they really did not feel that much different although the link setup has more travel. If you are using it on the circle track and it is fairly smooth. There is a company that makes struts that have about 1-2" of travel to them. I'm not sure who makes them but my buddy has a set for his 450 for circle track and I can find out.

Try and find out for me and let me know how it works. I was reading up on Darryl Raths TT bike and it has a no linkage set up on it. The shock just bolts straight to the swinger.

What would I need for this, just a stiff rear shock.

Talljess is in the service...Marines maybe???  He has a pretty sweet rig... NOS and all.  :grin_nod:  Ever thought about just running the rear rigid Bama???  I will be running solid struts for drags... they are adjustable... but no play.  I would think the rigid in the rear would be shweeze.  I would say the shocks up front would still give enough "play" to roll you through the corners.  Just a wild haired thought.  :batman:

The struts are made by TQS I think. I dont have much info on them and Aaron couldn't remember any helpful info on them. They have 1-2" of travel and weigh next to nothing.

By travel to you mean like suspension travel... OR travel as in adjustment???  I have struts that have adjustment... meaning they are rigid struts, but I can make them longer or shorter.  The adjustable hymes are like $12 each... then the chromoly  was cheap too.  I think I paid $130ish for em.  :)
