I run a no link rear shaw. It is a dragbike, but basically Shaw sets up the shock valving according to your weight ect... and then you use nitrogen pressure to fine tune the "stiffness or softness" of the shock. I rode the dragbike with the shaw and then my duner back to back on the same hill and they really did not feel that much different although the link setup has more travel. If you are using it on the circle track and it is fairly smooth. There is a company that makes struts that have about 1-2" of travel to them. I'm not sure who makes them but my buddy has a set for his 450 for circle track and I can find out.
