I need more. I was expecting my head to get torn off, but nothing. The only difference that I can tell is that it tops out quicker. It may just be me. I remember when I installed my HC2.... it didn't feel any different to me, but once I got to the dunes I could feel the difference. IDK, it may just be the fact that I only drove it up and down my a street. At one point I was in third and hit it, it pulled a wheelie no problem with a +4 swinger. I'll give her a real test run this weekend.

are those oil drips on the sidewalk?

anyway, you probably had high expectations from this build, to some extent I'd say.

it's what it is, just test it on the weekend against other Raptors to see where you stand.

enjoy it while it lasts

I've done the same thing when I built my predator. Built it in the garage, took it up the road and was like WTF did I spend the money on. Then took it out to the trail and it was a monster

You really have to get it in a good environment to make it shine.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

I just finished my build and kind of thought the same thing until we got them to the sand and started running them.

I think until you go up to a very big build approx maybe 797 and up, you will not feel that massive torque down low that you might have been expecting.

Mine felt faster but not "crazy fast" like I was kind of hoping.  We rode (sand dunes) for a while and I noticed much more up top.  Once we got to one of the big hills we got to actually run them.  This is where I saw the new power.  From mid to upper RPM's this thing absolutely rips, this is where it was limited before.

These bikes have so much power/torque down low with just the big 3 that you have to do some pretty serious work to get that massive jump again in torque.  You can gain a ton in the middle to upper rpm range with builds like yours and mine, but to get another big chunk of torque down low (where you feel the arm ripping sensation) I think you are looking at running  big bore big stroke with all of the goodies.

I'll go out to Little Sahara this weekend and let her loose. I'll let you know what its like on the dunes, plus my buddy has a big 3 I can ride to see what a difference it is.

Also Im only running 91 octane, Jason at TRF said I would get a couple more horses on race. I'll run something like 101 or so and see if I can feel anything.

Typical race gas will not get you any more power than what you have. I think he is talking about U2 or U4 race gas, which is oxygenated and runs something like 10-15 dollars a gallon.

10-15 a gallon.... :jaw:

I'll take 91 for 2.75 Alex.
