Why the hell did I start doing this????

Wanted to clean up the ol pipes before I rode this year and boy what a job, 1 pipe down 1 to go!

Admited I could spend a lot more time on the first one but I say hell with it, i'm going riding tomarrow and i'll be in muddy ass minnesota. The trails on the federal land just opend on the 1st in our area so i'm ready to ride finally!!!!! waiting months and months and months and months for this. That's alotta months!  Well here's some pics of the pipes/pipe...enjoy....i know i didn't enjoy doing it. lol , I got polish everywhere!!!!

How they started, dirty to washedn to little bit polished. The quad is dirty cuz i guess i technically rode for 10 min this year, that was to warm it up and load it into the truck.





I'm leaving this pipe as is , maybe a little bit more time on the end cap

Got the 2nd done, well, I gave it a rush job but it looks ok. Going to load it up right now and go wash the quad....shoulda done that 1st, lol

hint...  when polishing use baby powder...  try some baby powder on them now......    shhhhhh.

It was a tip from a pro polisher... his shop turns out some sick polished items...  Most polishes contain a form of oil and leave a residue....  after polishin like you have rub it down real good with baby powder and see what happens.     His stuff looks like chrome when he is done polishing.
