So I have the worst luck in history, and have had four appliances fail in 120 days.

Well, I spent money I didn't have to spend yesterday and replaced my 57'' Sony that shit on me for a 46'' Samsung LCD yesterday at Best Buy. I bought a stand for it too, as I do not have an elevated plug to mount it up.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9293506&type=product&id=1218076081627

46''/1080p/120hz/HDTV

The LED version was $800 higher. Ouch! So far, it's been cool without the HD on shitty connection cables. It's unreal.

DirecTV is coming out on the 25th an upgrading me for free to an HD/DVR. I told them I was switching to Dish and they hooked me up, plus three months of service for free.

samsung straight up rocks, keep watching to see if the TV goes on sale, I got the same TV right around Super Bowl time when they had some killer deals. They'll hook ya up if it goes on sale within 2 weeks I think it is.

Supposedly it was "on sale" when I bought it, or so their add stated. I remember you getting that and you stating you liked it...I have owned Sony stuff for years, but the last Sony purchase soured me. Two would-be repairs in two years. No thanks.

I have an old Sony Rack stero I need to replace, but I'll keep the components for extra sound until I get some cash to upgrade the home theatre. They had a $350 upgrade with a sub and a speaker bar that was cool, but the sound wasn't huge out of it. They had this that sounded awesome....1000 watts!
