Parking brake block off plate

I ordered two different block off plates thinking the 1st one was not for the rappy. Do the plates need to seal the parking brake plunger off? The hollowed out portion of the plate leaves a little bit of a gap between the top and bottom of the plunger? I am freaking out or are both of them still wrong?

Yeah, mine looked a little off, the same as what you're saying.

I used some black RTV silicon to seal the opening of what left of it...
