Guess this isn't the place to post any, but I thought about it. 
Will go looking for the game when I get to LA,
might have to give it a try.
Not fair that some of you are big timers with lots of points, & then you want to recruit noobs like me.
Think everyone should start on level playing field, & only rack up points within this group.
Will not take the good guys long to get their good stuff again, but will give the learners some kind of chance to get into it.

I use all the basic gunms you start with basically, I found they are a lot better than some of the ones you upgrade to.

i will be starting over sense i put vista on my pc and xfire doesn't keep all my online stats :'(. no big deal though

................   Duuuuude... back up your COD folder. I forget which 3 it is. But it saves your game progress and your online profiles so you don't have to start from scratch.

I got it for 30 online but ended up downloading the game cd cause I had problems patching a digital copy...I know some people have bought a legit CD code and downloaded the CD (technically DVD, mofo's almost 7 gigs and requires a DL-dvd)

Yeah you need a valid CD code as the main COD4 server uses that to verify it's a "legit" copy...I just reused my code from the digital copy and it works like a charm.

First install, then learn how to play.

Yeah the controls got a bit of a learning curve, it's a totally different setup than what I've played in the past...I still F up every now and then. Still at the "noobie that gets fragged first every round" stage..

set it up, can't get past basic training part yet!
Getting controls sussed, how & where to move.
making my head spin.

Always takes me ages to get going in a game, rarely ever play them for a start, & this one will take me ages.
Still I figured having you lot to play with will help me get into it

Yeah and this layout isn't very user friendly...I keep forgetting I can't "hold" a grenade so when I go to select one it automatically throws it, d-oh...And sometimes I'll just get so confused I'm staring at my keyboard wondering WTF am I hitting?
