Just an FYI....I'd advise you to look at the Sony before ordering it. Their keyboards have more than average spacing between the keys. Some people really don't like that.
his sasquatch hand can cover the whole keyboard, thats not a problem

I picked this up at Best Buy last night. Not really a computer guy but needed something for my trip coming up. Here's the link-------->http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9164101&type=product&id=1218040477834#tabbed-customerreviews You computer guys tell me what you think about it?

Nothing wrong with a Toshiba Satellite. They've been making notebooks for a long time. That one should work well for ya.

Good to hear... It's my 1st laptop so I looked around at a few, didn't need a gaming computer so I went with this one. I'm so impressed by the speed it has over my desktop

Thoughts?

looked to see if there was any warranty. I don't see one. Refurb computers make me nervous. On the other hand, I have never had any issues with HP stuff. decent price.

Similar to what I have.   Just mine is the 15.4 and 2Gig of RAM. It has been very good with no complaints for almost 2 years.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Thats the one I wanted since I've had good luck with Toshiba, but the wife wanted more storage space (320 gig) and the bigger monitor.

You've got to have ALOT of shit on your computer to fill up that kinda HDD space. I've got a 250GB HDD (3/4 full) now, with a couple thousand personal pictures, 6,000+ songs, and 250 movies, plus all my games and misc shit.

We have kids.  SO....just over 30 gigs in pictures, 42 gigs in music and 21 gigs in vids from the High def video camera we just picked up last year.  Every vid takes up a TON of space when I record in high def.
