Why too tall?

You can buy extended clutch and throttle cables.

I don't like tall bars. Just not comfortable for me. I prefer a lower, more aggressive riding position. I'm usually hunched over dodging low branches anyway.
I find it easier to lean and throw the bike around when the bars are lower.

option 4.....stop death gripping your grips.

seriously, when i started paying attention to how tense I was keeping my arms and shoulders while riding, and forced myself to relax a bit i had much less trouble with my hands numbing.

Aaron

I was going to post that first

Another trick...go get a stock 660, ride it for 4 hours, then go back to your 700. Complaints will cease

Gotcha!  I wouldn't mind my bars being a smidge higher, Back hurts occasionally.

That does help when I ride in the sand. But when I ride woods, I have to keep my hands, wrists, and arms fairly stiff. Otherwise those damn roots come out of nowhere and rip the bars out of my hands. Freakin' hurts!

I also have carpel tunnel in both wrists and a previous broken wrist as well. My kids say its 'cause I'm old!

Nooooooo!!!!! I hated my 660! I was sooooo glad to sell it and get my 700. That thing was so damn unstable. That's the bike I broke my wrist on!

Colorado700R

I ride similar conditions, I know what your saying.  try paying attention to your shoulders though, if you tesne them too much they have affects on your arms and hands too.

That happened to my friend. Hit a root, busted his wrist.

Just saying, I used to complain SOOOO much about that. The 700 is so much smoother.

Mine was until I did my build. The vibration kills me. Nothing like tingling hands when you're trying to ride. Then again, my hands go numb mowing my lawn too. :(

I think you need to look at the root of the problem, rather than the bandaid aid fix. If your motor is vib. that bad, then you may have some serious problems.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

wobble

It doesn't vibrate that bad, just more than what it did stock. Like I said, the vibration from my lawnmower even makes my hands go numb.
