Which have more anti-vibe benefits, Flexx bars or Rox anti-vibe risers?

Colorado700R

Hmm, intresting question.  And I don't have either, but I think the flex bars are more for absorbing impacts, wheras the anti vibe riser helps take the vibration effect transfered from the stem ???

I'm basically looking to reduce vibration from the engine. This vibration causes my hands to go numb after riding for about an hour. I've been using the Rox anti-vibe risers for awhile and they helped alot. I got some Flexx bars for Christmas and finally got around to mounting them last night, but they are just too tall with the Rox risers. So......it sounds like I'll have to choose between the bars and risers. I'm thinking the bars will do more, but not sure.

I would rather have Flex Bars, much less hassle.

I have flex anti vibe handle bar inserts that knock down the vibe reall well.

I think I'll try a set of the inserts and just use the flexx bars. See how that goes.

Thanks guys.

Ok....stupid question. I'm looking at their website and they have many applications listed, but not one for their Flexx bars.

Will the standard ABI-200 fit the Flexx bars?

Got mine through Steve at TQS, he would probably know for sure.

If you want to got he cheap route first, try some sand or silicon first.

Fasst anti-vibe insterts are ordered. Hopefully between those and the Fasst bars, my hands won't go numb anymore.

I'm going broke trying to get something that works. Here's what I've been through:

- Bought Pro Taper bars because local shop said they have more anti-vibe properties than the Trailtech bars I was using. Complete B.S. I noticed no difference.
- Bought Mod Quad anti-vibe stem. I noticed a little difference, but hands still went numb.
- Filled my Pro Taper bars with silicone. Noticed a little more difference, but hands still went numb.
- Sold the stem and bought Rox anti-vibe risers. Noticed a big difference. I could ride alot longer without hands going numb.
- Bought Flexx bars, but it's just too tall mounted on the Rox anti-vibe risers. Forced to choose between the risers and the bars.
- Bought Flexx anti-vibe bar inserts to use in combination with the Flexx bars. Hopefully this will work. We shall see.

Hopefully someone with the same problem I have (hands going numb) reads this later and it saves them time and money.

Peelz

Why too tall?

You can buy extended clutch and throttle cables.
Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"

option 4.....stop death gripping your grips.

seriously, when i started paying attention to how tense I was keeping my arms and shoulders while riding, and forced myself to relax a bit i had much less trouble with my hands numbing.
