Epic.

Love it!

Funny thing is you all fell for it.

~Brian

He even got you this time.

No, I knew about it. I sent him a PM and asked what we could do as a prank.

~Brian

Guess I don't exist around here anymore.

Sure you do.

I just suggested a Rick Roll. Had I not suggested anything, Randy would have pranked us all.

Anyone see Jalopnik's April Fool's day prank?

According to VetteMarket, GM is prepping a 2011 Corvette Hybrid; pairing the Volt powertrain with an LS3 V8 for a rubber-burning 68 MPG. A belt-driven supercharger charges the batteries to produce a "Lutz" acceleration mode.

'We're No Strangers to Love': Fooled you again
At least 467,000 people around the world were Rick Rolled this April Fools Day, meaning at least that many people are still gullible two years after the bait-and-switch prank first hit the Internet in 2007.

It involves one person coaxing an unsuspecting target to click on a YouTube video of singer Rick Astley performing his 1987 song "Never Gonna Give You Up," usually by promising some other – any other – amazing event captured on video. Instead, an '80s-techno drum fill counts down into Astley's happy pop ditty.

By the time the English singer-songwriter croons the words "We're no strangers to love," the targets are shaking their head, somewhere on the spectrum between mild amusement and radiant aggravation.

Interest in the practice reached a height in April, 2007, according to Google Trends, which tracks Google web searches. Within a few weeks in 2008, some 13 million people had been Rick Rolled, as the practice became known online. The singer performed a live Rick Roll during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade last year.

And obviously, it remains a popular prank.

On the morning of April 1, 2009, 18,786,325 had viewed the "RickRoll'D" video, the most popular but certainly not the only link to the song. By April 2, the total number had reached 19,253,892.
