New Fourwheeler (PICS 5/27 LAST PAGE)
« on: March 28, 2009, 11:35:22 AM »
Picked up my new ride last night. It's a HOUSER 250r geometry frame with a YZ426 motor. Motor has a 450 cylinder so its the same as the yz450f dirtbike. The head is ported but I suspect theres more. Shorty exhaust.

Houser frame
PEP triple rate front shocks
Axis rear
Houser swinger
JD a-arms
Holeshots on back
beadlocks all around
burgard stem
Denton stabilizer

EVERYTHING AFTERMARKET. Theres only a few honda parts on it, so stfu

Not the best lookin, but it sure as fast of the few laps I took last night.

Going to take it out in the yard for a bit, then on goes the stock exhaust

Let me know what you gus think.

I like it better. Took a few laps round the yard. I felt very comfortable on it. Just my size. Front end is very nice so far, stays planted and very comfortable. Stabilizer feels very good, pinned it over some bumps and didnt even feel em.

Motor is a torque monster holy shit. throttle repsonse is truly incredible, I just cant describe it. Didnt get to ride for very long, but it seemed like it didnt rev out as much as the yfz. but all the power is down low, and i love it.

Peels just wondering, what makes you like the yfz better?

Also got 2 sets of handguards, filter, header, and Cylinder!

Not bad for $2700 I'd say :grin_nod:

It didn't look like kids built it in shop class. j/k just playing, I know you wanted a built bike without paying a bunch. Congrats.

I'm not completely sure, but I belive so. It's got no electric start, so thats 20 pounds less right there. and all the stuff is aftermarket so id assume its lighter.

If you part this sucker out you'll make it WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than your $2700 you have invested.. Nice buy man.. kinda ugly plastics. but if you shop around since its built w/ the 250r frame.. There's some SWEEEET options for you man! :batman:
