Clearing up RJ cam misconceptions

Okay guys, there are already misconceptions out about the RJ cam. Lash caps are not required for installation, I like to use them for improving valvetrain geometry and improve valve tip loading area. If you choose to use lash caps for for this purpose, they must be hardened and/or hard coated to be compatible with the factory adjusting screw. If you have lash caps that are "ditching" out, they don't have the proper hardness regardless of what the manufacturer or sales person says. The Raptor valvetrain will tip the adjuster up on the edge when using ANY cam that requires the rocker to be clearanced for lobe height. A little common sense goes a long way here guys..... Where there are lash caps being worn out, lift is not the problem :thumbs:
