Running again!!!

Well I got my top end back together today and got her running. I am glad I decided to do it mysef, it was much easier than I thought it was going to be, with the exception of getting the piston pin clips in...that was kind of a pain.
I hope to get a couple of hours on the motor and then get back to the dyno to see where I am at...I hope to be around 65ish. Just glad it is running again, I was starting to go through withdrawls.

I installed kennys 11:1, RJ cam and his newest head porting and +1 valves with beehive springs and +3 TB, this is the head that was in the pic's he posted. I can't wait to ride it....maybee this weekend if the weather holds.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

We will have VERY similar builds! Sounds like you will have hours on yours long before mine! So let me know how it runs :) :)

I am going from big 3 to: 11:1 diamond, +3 tb, Custom curve'd dynatek, Evac valve, Tim's CNC head with +1 valves and beehive springs, RJ cam and new 4.5 inch intake (had a small pro design in there before).

I would love to see your dyno with piston and head from kenny!

What is your elevation? Maybe we can trade map's :)

what intake are you talking about?  i am going to be going +3tb, newest kenny head concoction, rj cam, kds 11:1 piston and rings,  and a +5 crank. adding this to a alumapro single exhaust, prodesign intake and a programmable ignition.  sounds like we are all gonna be runnin "some serious muscle" (doing the mathew mcchoney arm pump gesture from dazed and confuzed)

I have a FUEL ATV billet adaptor that has is 4.5 inches on the filter side. I was thinking the stock box was bigger than it is...lol cuz the adaptor itself BARELY fits in the box (stock hole). I am going pull the box out and take a heat gun to it and try to expand the sides/bottom out about an 1/2 to an inch on each side to make the filter fit.

The filters came in today and are HUGE! I will post pics once I get it all worked out. Worst case scenario I may have to open up the existing filter adaptor hole so I can move the adaptor up and to the center just a bit to get the clearance I need.

Krandall: Yup I will make a new thread w/ pics on my full build once I FORCE the box to accept that hoss of a filter :)

I am anxious to see your dyno results too! Since our builds are 99% identical I imagine we will be within 1/2 hp of each other with very very similar hp/tq curves.
