To me it's like having a quad for ONLY Sand dunes.  It's not like I can roll out of my garage and ride it.  It's actually quite a trip to get to decent snow to make it worth while.

no prob. Glad to hear everything went good for her. Back problems are nothin to mess with. I'm waiting for the day mine gives me problems.

I about 4 years ago working for my odl company fell off a ladder. we had to do a service call in the winter and get on the roof, ladder was in the snow. we put the ladder up against the gutters, I got up almost onto the roof, and the legs of the ladder slid out so I fell backwards right on my back on top of the ladder. Most pain I've ever been in... and the "tough guy" in me.. decided to not go to the doctor, didn't have health insurance and didn't know how workmans comp worked. so now. I haev a lump on the bottom of my back right above my butt. doesn't hurt or anything. but.... some day it'll come back to haunt me.

Today in history...

Mar 4 1861

The "Stars and Bars" is formally adopted as the flag of the Confederate States of America.

Mar 4 1966

John Lennon claims that The Beatles are "more popular than Jesus", and that "Christianity will... vanish and shrink".

Mar 4 1991

The U.S. Army destroys an Iraqi bunker holding 7 tons of sarin nerve gas. It is later determined that 24,000 troops in the 82nd Airborne may have been adversely affected by this toxin release. Maybe this was the WMD we've been looking for for the past 6 years.
