So I am getting ready for my first GNCC race on a quad in May. Has anyone on here raced their 700 in GNCC? If so, did you have any problems with certain parts breaking or anything? I am going to order a new set of rzrs, tether kill switch, and I still have to fix my bumper. What size razr's should I get? I want 20's but what dimensions?

I think with GNCC the biggest weakness you could have is Tires. Make sure you are carrying a plug kit and some CO2 cartridges. Make sure you pace your self also.

Yeah good point.  The Raptor will have plenty enough torque to pull you through the woods with speed.  i would also look into getting a set of Nerf Bars and skid plates too.

Yup.. Get yourself a GOOD set of tires. I ended up w/ the GNCC Fronts and the XCR Rears. Super grippy couldn't ask for better.
Honestly.. if you don't have a stabilizer.. get one. you will thank me later.

I have full skids and Pro Armor nerfs and fat pegs. I have rode the whole place that my first race is and the toughest part is the rock garden. Do I really have to pace myself? Because of gas?

no, it will wear you out quicker than you think

I ride fast all day every day I ride. The only part that might wear me out is picking the quad up and rolling it back over :P

how long is the race? I've had problems with the frame breaking just obove the foot pegs. Get a kill switch, nerf bars, and good tires. I ran a 10 hour race a couple of months ago and had ZERO problems. Since your runnin GNCC I would not get Razr2's they bite a little too hard. If you look at all the big name GNCC guys they are running GNCC tires or razr1's. I would just run a belly skid and maybe a sprocket guard. If you use a full swingarm plate you'll get hung up all the time. I know I did. Just make sure your suspension and alingment is all set up for GNCC style racing. Spend all the money you can on comfort items, I.E. anti vibe stem, fast flex bars, and a stabilizer. Shocks would be even better.

I don't think it will be very long at all. I have the nerfs and I am buying razr1's but should I get 20x10x9?

I'd say go as wide as possible for the backs.  and Alittle taller in the front to help get the front end up over stuff easier

My fronts are fine so I am only ordering rears for now. If possible can someone PM me a link to the cheapest place for them?

I think I am just going to buy the 4plys since money is sort of tight right now. Should I get new handlebars to make the handling comfier?
