I want to make a snorkel

I'm going down to Hatfield Mccoy again for spring break. I'll be riding with 2 Utilitys and want to stick with them in thwe mud (i got them everwhere else  ). Normally i do ok, and only get stuck in the real bad stuff, but alot of the time ill not go through a mudhole not because i'm worried about getting stuck, but because i think it will get too deep to fast.


Can you guys give me any cheap temporary intake snorkel ideas?

there is nothing you can buy, but good luck. not much room between seat and lid. You will have to start from scratch.

What I'D do is..... like they all said.. there isn't much room for making any sort of snorkel.. But.. if you have a single exhaust. I'd get soem PVC pipe and make it go to your left side and up. I'm not sure if there's room to make it go that way.... or if you remove your air box. and remove the rear under plastic. and have the tube go straight back off the intake tube.. then have it go straight up be hind you. (mounting the air filter on top)

You guys are making it sound like he's trying to run Nitrous just putting the bottle right into the intake or putting sand into his intake to port the head. 



I don't get what the problem is trying to fab up some sort of snorkle system? I'm just saying.. It's do-able.

Removing the airbox should give you a lot of open room to run a pvc pipe straight back and up!
As you can see, there is a lot of open room under my air filter.

never thought about having pipe come up the back. Just gotta make it go a bit higher than seat. GOod thought Krandall.
